Tenant and landlord portals

Fewer phone calls asking for a balance

On the paid plans, tenants and landlords sign in to their own web portal, in the browser of any phone or computer, and see their own figures. They are never staff, and never see anyone else’s.

A tenant’s own page on a phone: what they owe, “I have paid”, and how to pay.
From the live demo. Every name and figure is made up.

For a tenant

What a tenant asks the office for, in the browser of their own phone.

  • What I owe and paid up to, the next bill and how to pay you.
  • My bills and receipts, each receipt as a PDF, and a statement of the whole tenancy.
  • “I have paid”: the amount, the reference and a photo if they like. Nothing moves until the office confirms it, and then the receipt shows.
  • My lease: its rent, deposit and dates.
  • Report a repair with a photo, and follow it.
  • Give notice from the portal, for the office to confirm.

For a landlord of an agency

What they are owed, this month so far, the last payout and which units stand empty, with their statements by month as PDF, their payouts with an advice for each, a year summary, the arrears by unit, the repairs at their buildings, what was spent with its receipt, and any repair above their limit waiting for their answer.

Who gets a sign-in

You open a sign-in for a tenant or a landlord with their email or phone, and give them a first password. With an email on the sign-in, they can also ask for a code by email. Five wrong passwords lock the sign-in for 15 minutes, and one person can have accounts with several agencies.

Tenants’ and landlords’ own sign-in comes with the paid plans and the trial. On the Free plan, receipts and reminders still reach them on WhatsApp or SMS from your phone. See the plans.

Questions about tenant and landlord portals

More on the questions page.

Does a tenant need a smartphone?

No. Receipts and reminders reach any phone by SMS or WhatsApp, sent from your phone. The portal is for tenants who want to look things up themselves.
